New York’s best medical institutions have acknowledged the availability of world-class healthcare in the Philippines. New York-Presbyterian Hospital, the state’s best medical center, and the medical schools of New York’s two Ivy League colleges, Columbia University and Cornell University, have picked St. Luke’s Medical Center to be their International Affiliate.

The International Affiliate Agreement was signed by New York-Presbyterian Hospital President & CEO Herbert Pardes, Weill Medical College of Cornell University Dean for Medical Affairs Antonio M. Gotto, Jr., College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University Dean Gerald Fischbach and St. Luke’s’ Medical Center President & CEO Joe Ledesma.

This singular honor has put the Philippines on the map of international medical expertise and facilities, and has provided St. Luke’s an affirmation of its leadership in the field of healthcare in Asia. Considered a byword in Philippine healthcare, St. Luke’s was accorded formal affiliation by the three prestigious New York medical institutions as a recognition of its professional medical expertise, commitment to excellent patient care, the most comprehensive range of diagnostic and therapeutic services, and state-of-the-art world class technology.
