Magnetic Resonance Imaging

St. Luke’s Medical Center is the one and only medical institution in the country equipped with the 3 Tesla MRI. The 3-Tesla is a sophisticated magnetic resonance with a very high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), allowing it to deliver much clearer and more detailed images of the body. The enhanced contrast and increased resolution it offers reveal important details not easily visualized with other scanners. It also allows the use of thinner slices for more accurate and exacting diagnoses.
