At St. Luke’s Institute of Radiology, precision in diagnosis accounts for a better healing process. In order to give the best inside story on the different body organs, the Institute’s sections – Diagnostic X-ray, General Ultrasonography, Computerized Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Mammography and Interventional Radiology, are equipped with the most technologically advanced radiology equipment. Only experienced and skilled physicians and technologists operate these machines.

But what sets it apart from other radiologic facilities in the country is the Picture Archiving and Communications System, or PACS as it is more popularly called. PACS opens an entirely new avenue in the process of diagnosis. It is in simple language, a computer system that archives PET, MRI, CT, X-ray, Ultrasound and Nuclear Medicine images which then allows doctors to retrieve, manipulate and enhance the images from their PACS-connected computers anywhere in the hospital and anywhere in the world, at the touch of a button.
