When that pain in your back or ache in your joints continues to nag you, the Institute of Orthopedics and Sports Medicine offers a complete line of screening tests to determine if there is any cause for concern involving your musculoskeletal system. These screening procedures include, among others, Orthopedic Assessment, Complete High-resolution Radiographic (X-ray) Studies, Computed Tomography Scan, Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Total Body Bone Scan.

The Institute’s specialists pack decades of experience behind them, with years of study and training in the treatment of various disorders of the muscles, tendons, ligaments, and joints. Screening processes usually begin with a medical history and thorough physical examination, followed by imaging studies (X-ray, MRI, others) depending on the clinical situation.
