About Us

The Blood and Marrow Transplant Center offers patients state-of-the-art facilities for cell therapies in the treatment of cancer and blood or bone marrow disorders in adults and children.

Patient care and education is provided by a multi-disciplinary team that includes not only the specialty trained physicians but also dedicated transplant coordinators, nurse practitioners, clinical pharmacists and other allied health practitioners.

In-patient care is provided in a specialized In-Patient Unit designed with sterile isolation rooms with HEPA filter system. Acute out-patient care is likewise provided whenever possible. For those who live out of town, there are apartments adjacent to the hospital that are offered for short- or long-term lease.

Using stem cells from blood or bone marrow for transplant, as well as related immunotherapies, we treat patients with a wide range of diseases.

We are committed to ensuring that our patients and their families receive the best care available at St. Luke’s Medical Center. A specially trained team of health care professionals from oncologists and hematologists, to nurses, pharmacists and child family life specialists, supports our patients and their families throughout the entire process.
