PET/CT Scanner and Cyclotron at St. Luke's
St. Luke's Medical Center, the premier medical center in the Philippines and one of the best healthcare institutions in the world, is the country's leading hospital in healthcare expertise and technology.
St. Luke's is the only medical facility in the country equipped with a PET/CT Scanner and Cyclotron. It was the first medical center in Southeast Asia to acquire a PET Scanner. St. Luke's is the country's first and only hospital equipped with a 3-Tesla MRI, which is far more advanced than the conventional MRI. New world-class facility True to its commitment to provide excellent healthcare, St. Luke's Medical Center is building another world-class facility in Bonifacio Global City. Expected to be fully operational by October 2009, the two-tower St. Luke's Bonifacio Global City stands on a 1.6-hectare property in Taguig City. Located in the heart of a fast-developing industrial and commercial hub adjacent to the Makati Central Business District, it is the best place for a successful international practice with access to the global market and exposure to international patients. Tower 1 is a 13-storey, 600-bed hospital building while Tower 2 is the 11-storey Medical Arts Building (MAB) that houses 374 doctors' clinics ranging in size from 27 sq.m. to 53 sq.m. The new state-of-the-art healthcare facility will feature a ground floor hotel-like lobby, six passenger elevators and five service elevators, ground floor out-patient operating rooms, fully air-conditioned hallways and corridors, waiting lounges on each floor, a doctors' lounge on the 2nd floor with a restaurant that is open to the public, and a bridgeway connecting to the Main Hospital. Medical Arts Building The Medical Arts Building (MAB) is equipped with automatic fire detection prevention system, back-up power generators, back-up potable water reservoir, closed circuit television (CCTV) surveillance cameras, six passenger elevators and two service elevators. Each MAB unit has provisions for high-speed internet access, local area network (LAN) connection to the hospitals Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS) and the hospital information system, wiring for cable television, synchronized master-clock system, and individual meters for electricity and water. The MAB has a multi-level parking area with 1,265 parking slots. Accepting applications St. Luke's Medical Center Bonifacio Global City (BGC) is now inviting medical practitioners to purchase No-Par Value (NPV) shares of the Medical Arts Building (MAB). The Securities and Exchange Commission has issued a Certificate of Permit to Offer Securities for Sale to St. Luke's Medical Center BGC MAB Corporation. Purchase of two NPV shares entitles the holder/s to clinic occupancy rights with a maximum of two doctors per clinic. NPV shares range from P1.33M to P2.64M per share or P2.68M per 30 sq.m. clinic to P5,29M per 53 sq.m. clinic while one parking slot costs P0.58M. Prospective shareholders should be board-certified specialists and should go through the credentialing and privileging process of St. Luke's Medical Center BGC.
