RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT DIVISION

St. Luke's started out as fully free outpatient clinic for the poor in Calle Magdalena, Tondo. More than a hundred years later, St. Luke's still provides socialized medical services to the Filipino people. It also supports and conducts medical, dental and surgical missions in rural areas.

The Resource Development Division (RDD) partners with individuals and organizations with fervent commitment to philanthropy. It is through these generous hearts that St. Luke's is able to provide quality healthcare for all.

PROGRAMS

Legacy Program

The Legacy Program seeks to honor a highly-respected individual or reputable company by affixing their name on the choice medical facility. While fairly new to the Philippines, this system of gift giving is popularly supported in big medical institutions in the U.S. St. Luke's somehow pioneered such vision for healthcare institutions in the country.

Friends of St. Luke's

Individuals are encouraged to share St. Luke's drive for social responsibility through the Friends of St. Luke's program. This direct mail campaign seeks to open more doors for generous giving.

PROJECTS

Outreach and Social Services

Charity programs under the Medical Social Services (MSS) provide free or low-cost treatments to indigent patients. St. Luke's also conducts annual free clinics and regularly supports free medical missions in different provinces.

Medical Research

Through its Research and Biotechnology Division (RBD), the hospital discovers new frontiers in improving a patient's quality of life. With this, St. Luke's continues to be a stalwart of excellence in the medical field.

Education

The St. Luke's College of Medicine trains top students to become world-class, highly-skilled doctors. Full and partial scholarships are given to deserving pre-med graduates with an NMAT rating of 90% and above.
